  • Academic Support
Students receive personalized guidance, caring support, and the resources they need to succeed both in and beyond the classroom.
    • Personalized Support for Every Student

Every student learns differently, and every student deserves the opportunity to succeed. At St. Teresa, academic support is built around strong relationships between students, teachers, counselors, and families. Whether a student needs occasional extra help or ongoing academic accommodations, our faculty works together to provide the guidance and encouragement each student needs to reach their potential.

    • Individual Attention

Small class sizes allow teachers to recognize when students need additional help and respond quickly. Support may include:

      • Extra help before or after school
      • Individual meetings with teachers
      • Peer tutoring opportunities
      • Study and organizational strategies
      • Progress monitoring and communication with parents

Students are encouraged to seek help early, building confidence and developing habits that prepare them for success in college and beyond.
    • Individual attention
    • Dual Credit Courses

Dual credit courses allow eligible students to earn both high school and college credit for the same course. These classes give students experience with college-level expectations while they continue to receive support from St. Teresa teachers and staff.

Depending on the institution a student later attends, dual credit may help fulfill college requirements, provide greater flexibility in course scheduling, or reduce the number of courses needed after high school.

The acceptance and transfer of dual credit are determined by each college or university.
    • Learning Accommodations

St. Teresa partners with families to support students who have documented learning needs. Working within available resources, we implement appropriate classroom accommodations and collaborate with parents, teachers, counselors, and outside professionals when appropriate.

      Accommodations may include:

      • Extended testing time
      • Preferred classroom seating
      • Note-taking or organizational support
      • Testing in a reduced-distraction environment
      • Other accommodations outlined in an approved educational plan
    • A Community That Wants Every Student to Succeed

Academic success is about more than grades. It is about helping students grow in confidence, develop resilience, and discover their God-given abilities.

At St. Teresa, students are known, supported, and challenged every day by teachers who are invested in their success.
